Night Rain

Rain drops were pattering on the roof top.

Rain pellets ended their journey just above me.

Their pathway was cloud, roof, gutter, yard, street, sewer and lake.


Gusting winds caused the soft sounds to modulate.

Much water fell on the lawn and garden every minute.

It would take all day for the sprinklers to leave as much water as in 10 minutes of rain.


Tiny hints of thunder could barely be heard.

The World’s Most Educated Countries - what is this really telling us?

Many thanks to Allison Morris for pointing out this infographic. It is, I feel, a first step in a thinking process, as I am not sure what it says, or where the value is. I'd also like to know more about, for example, how literacy is defined in the resource used to inform the infographic so need to go and do some homework.
