The "language" of youth is music and song. Music videos and itunes songs are deep inside of their orientation to life.
I love the fact that this could be a truly cross-curricula approach, which integrates the sciences and the creative arts. And, with the neat apps available, not everyone has to be a top notch musician - just creative. Huge potential for students to work collaboratively to understand / assimilate aspects of a subject and present them to a way wider audience. While this particular example is focussed on 'knowledge', there must be opportunities for capturing application of the knowledge in practical situations.
