I must admit to a tendency to focus on emails and easy, small tasks when there is something tough to focus on...like the paper I am currently writing ( groan). So, it was great, while catching up with a new friend and colleague the other day...Denis McGrath...to hear about some of the techniques he uses to help him focus. He also recommended the following article that outlines some of the daily routines of history's most creative minds. Denis write "I loved this article - plenty of good tips..." And then included the advice " No benzedrine though - y'hear? :)"!
Would be good to hear if you have tried any of the strategies, and if they work for you. Or please feel free to share if you have other strategies.
