We all have good intentions when it comes to establishing balance in our lives and looking after our health and wellbeing, whether it be going to the gym, reading a book, spending time out with loved ones or just being still. However it doesn’t take long for reality to kick in and the curse known as busyness to take control again. When this happens, our bodies get stuck in the fight or flight space, and the hormones that keep everything tickety-boo, are having to work extra hard. The longer we sit in the full-on busy space, the harder it is for the body to keep on top of things, leading to foggy brain, feeling overwhelmed, being run down and generally sick.
Well, there is good news for us all out there - we can recalibrate the balance and bring back some inner calm in a matter of moments. Yay! So to help get the ball rolling, here are some strategies that we would like to gift to you:

Spend a few moments focusing on how you are feeling whilst looking at the picture.
In all these situations, it is important to stay present in the moment, focus on how your body feels and do them before your body reaches crisis point. How did any of the strategies we have shared above work for you? What are some of the other strategies that you use? Why not share them with the rest of our community - we’d love to try them?
