Profile Information

What is your profession?
Recruiter of top training talent and sometimes Instructional Designer
What is your interest in ICT Enhanced Learning and Teaching?
From a professional point of view, I have set up the NZ Institute of Instructional and elearning Designers as I see a huge need to upskill out instructional designers in NZ businesses. There is some great education, and learning in Tertiary but this is not filtering into business. I want to make that link.
My life legacy work is to set up a model school for Intermediate children (based in Nelson) where we use engaging, service and project based learning as a way to deal with some of our NZ and OECD issues such as high youth unemployment.
I saw a synergy with this site, as a way to connect with others with a similar vision

Hi Rustica

thanks very much for your message.  I work part time as a Learning Adviser and study a Certificate in E-learning.

I will definitely check it out and hopefully meet you there. Cheers

Welcome on board, Rustica. It is great to have you as a member of the community :-) I would love to hear more about what you are doing in Nelson...maybe a blog post? ;-) Please jump in also, with comments, suggestions, ideas, and questions. As an aside- did you go to the conference for young leaders in Bali (spotted that you mentioned it in your Tweets)? If you did, how was it? Cheers. Hazel
