Creative Writing with a difference

MLE reflection - my thoughts

Posted on February 6, 2015 at 13:00 2 Comments

Yesterday I had cause to think about 'learning environments' and innovative teaching and learning. As more and more teachers are using Microsoft tools for their teaching and learning I thought I would post some links to some sites I find useful for my teaching practice.

On a side note if you are not on Twitter you should - the best, free professional development tool.

SCIL- innovative teaching and learning

Posted on August 21, 2013 at 8:00 1 Comment

Last week I hopped on a plane to Sydney to visit Sydney Centre for Innovative learning (SCIL) at Northern Beaches Christian School. I am interested in redesigning my classroom space and have received a grant from TSB through the ISEA to visit some schools. I have written about my experience here: http://modernlearningenvironments.blogspot.co.nz/

Hello, Tam :-) Absolutely brilliant to welcome you to the Ethos online community. It's quite different to the VPLD online community, with a more eclectic membership with folks from all over the world, and with a wide range of different interests...with a common interest in learning.I think you'd be interested in the group that Zariah Gaelyn-Levai has set up, called iEDu: Web2.0 ReWired for the iGeneration. Other than that, please feel free to jump in with posts, comments, resources and questions. All the best. Hazel
